SABC Warn Hlaudi Reruns Likely to Continue For Years

Motsoeneng proves more resilient than the public broadcaster’s most cheesy sitcoms
JOHANNESBURG- After a mind-boggling address to the media yesterday regarding issues including his 90% local content disaster, the SABC has predicted more of the hubristic former Chief Operations Officer for years to come. “After yesterday’s performance, it is evident that the local content the people want to see is indeed Mr. Motsoeneng”, Ingrid Mafikizolo, head of the SABC’s Plummeting Viewership Survival Committee admits.
And while some are baffled at Motsoeneng representing something he clearly is not a part of anymore, others are in awe of his ability to enthuse and entertain while blowing his own bugle. In a speech some likened to Mandela’s I Am Prepared to Die and the Gettysburg Address, Motsoeneng proved captivating to many in attendance, with some demanding that the SABC release Blu-Ray copies of yesterday’s proceedings in addition to airing weekly midday reruns.
“People need to experience this inspirational man for themselves”, one Hlaudi-admirer says. “That’s why I’m sending this iPhone recording I took of him yesterday to the Emmy’s, Sundance and TED Talk.”
